Brooklyn Bite

Talk about judging a book by it's cover, the slightly stark modern interior of Brooklyn Bite didn't seem to have much of an atmosphere and made me worry we had over-antipicated our visit. However the food wine and company (their staff - one in particular) more than made up for it.

We had arrived late at 9.30pm and we were soon the only ones in the restaurant so had their undivided attention. The choice's of toppings were too much to take in and so we asked our waiter to decide and order for us. We were not let down.

What then appeared on our table was what can only be described as, as a beast. It was huge and I would probably not go for an 18" again however it was delicious, the base was not too thick and crust was soft and easy to eat; so easy that we devoured it in less than 25mins. All washed down with a (slightly over priced) bottle of wine, quirkily served in water glasses.

We left at closing time, feeling very full and slightly drunk; Despite the lack of customers, Brooklyn Bite certainly made an good impression, in more ways than one.
